Breaking the Cycle Recovery Court, Boulder City, NV

Has Served as both Prosecution and Defense Counsel

  • Created to provide intervention, treatment, and rehabilitation to misdemeanor criminal offenders that suffer from alcohol or chemical dependency.
  • The program gives offenders an opportunity to gain back control of their lives through participation in counseling, classes, random urinalysis testing and supervision.
  • Participants work with a treatment provider, the Drug Court Team, and the Alternative Sentencing Marshals to make a positive change in their lives.

Meet Lauren

Lauren grew up in Boulder City, Nevada. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a Certificate in Ethics, from Arizona State University. After earning her Bachelor’s degree, Lauren went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate and Certificate in Mediation from Arizona Summit Law School. While attending law school, Lauren clerked for Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Sherry K. Stephens, who notably presided over some of Phoenix’s most notorious criminal cases; including the Jodi Arias murder trial, during her clerkship.

Lauren went on to start her legal career handling family law, criminal defense and personal injury matters. Lauren returned to Nevada in September 2017 with aspiration to giving her family the same great life that she had growing up in Boulder City. Prior to starting her own firm in February 2023, Lauren spent four years working for the City of Boulder City in the City Attorney’s office. She assisted on both civil and criminal matters for the City. She then began practicing civil litigation, in both products liability and class action matters, including representing the State of Nevada in Opioid litigation against pharmaceutical manufacturers and dispensers.

Lauren is licensed to practice law in Nevada and Arizona. When she is not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and her two pit bulls, Zoe and Maximus.
